Consecutive Interpretation

The interpreter takes notes of what the speaker says while they speak and renders the translated message immediately afterwards. Speakers’ interventions must be short so that the interpreter does not skip details in their interpretation. It is ideal for short meetings with few participants in attendance.
However, please note that using this mode of interpretation may double the meeting duration.
During consecutive interpreting, the interpreter is able to listen actively, analyze what the speaker is saying, take useful notes to help them remember the speech, and then convey the content in a different language.
Consecutive interpretation should be used in short events where simultaneous interpretation is not optimal due to lack of infrastructure or meeting configuration.
However, please note that using this mode of interpretation may double the event duration.
